Ramen Ya-ing + Nightlife + Senso Love + Vegie Bar

Last Week I finished my last exam (fingers crossed) and I've had the taste of the free life... ish

Now it's the waiting game. Waiting for my results. Until then I'm having a break/working my butt off and having a break here and there.

I managed to focus some of my spare time on a social life, catching up with some of my lovelies, the wifey's and work mates. Spending countless hours sitting in a restaurant to sipping a good old G'n'T, fun times ahead.  

My Senso Diffusion shoes came in the mail. They are crazy tall, which if I were shorter would be fine. I'm still in love love love with them. I'm beginning to expand my love for shoes. Oh dear.

Two words. Black Friday. To some you'd think Dangerfield brand or a dark cloudy Friday. Add one other word: Sale and BAM Black Friday Sale. Needless to say I took advantage of these sales, much to the dismay of my Hong Kong saving fund. I cannot wait for my goodies to arrive!

I'm going to relax and take some time out. 

With no study I'm going to do a bit of work and some much needed me time. 

I love love love me some me time. Making random to-do lists, reorganizing and just well being me.

Motivation

 Midnight Breaking Dawn + Study + Sweet Tooth + More Study 

This time tomorrow I would have finished my last exam and fingers crossed I'll no longer be a student. I'm crossing my toes just for good luck. Studying has been a struggle, my mind has already graduated so it's hard to keep that focus on the books.

Last week I whilst trying to study I managed to still salvage a life. The lovelies and I went to the midnight screening of Breaking Dawn. Now firstly I'm not a twi-hard fan or fan in general, but it was good to see my girls. I've got to say Kristen Stewart is one pretty girl.

Next year I'm going to celebrate my 21st birthday in Hong Kong, in order to do that I'm beginning the most unnatural practice for me; saving up. I'm hoping that by saving my money I'll be able to spend it all whilst I'm in Hong Kong on all the pretty things in sight!

With my studies coming to an end I'm going to be focusing on the blog. Keep your eyes peeled on this space. Slight refinements and tweaks, nothing too radical I hope. MARTAN Pop Up Shop is going to close soon for the year, with only a few pieces left make sure you get yours before they're gone!

The future. It can be a very foggy place. 

As I'm closing one chapter, I'm still trying to choose the next.

With no guidelines to follow I'm deciding to simply follow what makes me happy and what I'm motivated to do. I've come to realize with this year that motivation is key to success.

My new mantra lovelies, Motivation is Key.

Style Diary: Thunderbolts and Lightning

Very very frighting! 

I'm in love love love with this Josh Goot blazer. From his Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection this white blazer features a symmetrical rainbow lightning print. Its just a bright look for me, with every colour of the rainbow in this jacket and then being white it's a new. 

Take a look at the Blazer. 

BAM amazing no?

For this look, it took me a while to piece it together. It's hard to create a look for such a bright and graphic piece. I added a simple white t-shirt and a pair of shorts that I made from jeans. I chose short shorts for the look so I don't look like a snow man. Showing skin balances the white. 

It wouldn't be a MARTAN look without a bit of black, so I added my Unif Hellraisers to the mix. The silver studs help to break up the black.

Supermodels Yasmin Le Bon, Helena Christensen, Cindy Crawford, Noami Campbell & Eva Herzigova are the Ultimate Supergroup in Dolce & Gabbana on cover the December Issue of Harper's Bazaar UK, shot by Jonas Akerlund. The five feature in a new Duran Duran short film: 'Girl Panic!'.

The Issue features a jam packed spread with group and dedicated shots featuring looks by Edward Sexton, Ann Demeulemeester, Giles,, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander McQueen and Thierry Mugler. It's such a rich and glamourous spread, not to mention the major supermodel power these ladies look FAB.

Montana Cox - Harper's Bazaar AUS December 2011

Australia's Next Top Model Montana Cox covers the December Issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia. The cover was shot by Pierre Toussaint.

As apart of the winner's package, Cox received a cover and full spread in Harper's Bazaar. In her spread Cox looks flawless in looks by Gucci, Armani and Ralph Lauren. 

I'm very happy that Montana won Top Model, I see big things for her just like fellow winners Amanda Ware and Alice Burdeu.
