I get a very chic retro vibe from the cover. Schiffer herself looks tres amazing, did you know she is 40? Doesn't look it to me. So is totally channeling a 'Lara Stoneesque' vibe I think. I'd be so intrigued to know her beauty regime!

I'm very happy with this cover, hopefully her spread does not disappoint!

Semester One done! One good all nighter I'm halfway through the year.

I had a fairly busy busy last week. With my folios and final reports due I had to spend time at home doing homework. I'm not the type to just simply sit and do (that's why I'll never see myself in a desk job) I get too antsy. But yes when push came to shove I got it all done.

I caught up with many a lovelies over the week. Surprisingly I got to go to Chadstone twice, and I don't really go there so that was fun. Not so good for my bank account, but still I practiced a moderate amount of restraint. I scored Jacket, Cardigan and a tres cool necklace. Very chuffed about the cardigan I must say.

Being antsy around the end of the week, and in anticipation for my break I wrote myself a long list of things to do before I go back to uni. You know just your general things and then some more in detail. I'm one of those people who has to write things down to remember and then to do as well. (I get satisfaction ticking something off...)

I've got some things up my sleeve for the blog and store so hopefully over the break I'll be able to test a few of these ideas out which I hope you love love love!

Anywho what have I done since finishing the semester?.. Work. Earning a bit of cash just for some future things. Travel, MJS Products and some love love lovely wishlist items...a good balance.

Throughout this hectic week I... not learnt but realized that sometimes it's good to just look up into the sky. I know sounds so weird and trivial, but I think personally when I'm overwhelmed or stressed I just look up to the cloud or whatever is around. It keeps me grounded; and gives me a bit of perspective. And especially with the nice weather last week it was pretty nice to look up to milky clouds and sunshine. 

Looks of the Week - 30-5th June 2011

Emmy Rossum - Rossum was in LA at a screening of her show 'Shameless' wearing a creme Alberta Ferretti dress. Love love loving the matching heels and peppermint clutch.

Eva Mendes - Attending the 2011 Guy's Choice Awards, Mendes toned down the sex in a pastel purple Roland Mouret dress. She matched a heavy gold YSL necklace and black Chanel clutch to finish her look.

Kim Kardashian - In Monaco at the Amber Lounge Fashion Show, the newly engaged Kardashian wore a this white halter Lanvin dress. Kardashian looks sophisticated and chic with the draping, very appropriate.

Nicola Roberts - The Girls Aloud singer wore what looks like a Vivienne Westwood dress to a friends wedding in  Berkshire England. Roberts has a very quirky funky fashion sense which I love love love. Note the bow shoes, I think they are tres chic. Roberts released her first solo single 'Beat of My Drum' I can't get enough of it.

Zoe Kravitz - In New York on press tour rounds for her latest film 'X-men: First Class' Kravitz wore a cute black, brown and creme printed Opening Ceremony mini dress. Kravitz is one cool Stylish lovely. I see big things for this girl.

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer covers the July issue of Harper's Bazaar UK; The Hot Issue. Schiffer is wearing Prada from their Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection. A very popular choice.

Schiffer looks tres Hot on the subscriber's cover, like the issue suggests. I love love loves it! With it being summer in Europe and in America all of the covers are so fresh and warm. A great escape for me and the winter.

Cannot wait for the spread, and Newsstand Cover.

Brittani Kline - Vogue Italia Test Shots.

Winner of Cycle 16 of America's Next Top Model Brittani Kline is now featured on Vogue Italia's website: Vogue.it. As apart of her prize package Kline won a CoverGirl contract a cover and spread in Beauty in Vogue and an additional spread in Vogue Italia.

Here are a few shots which are up on  Vogue.it. The shots are from the final 2 photoshoot. Whether these shots will be used in publication are to be seen, but if Ann Ward's shots are anything to look at there are more shot from this shoot to come.

Now the waiting game begins to see what Kline can pull out for Vogue Italia and modeling in general. Fingers crossed!
