Style Diary: Ripped Off

For some reason I'm into the Sleeveless

Some could say it's because it's Summer.
Some could say it is cheaper without the sleeves or that I'm into arms? (which is a negative)
There is something about sleeveless looks which just appeal to me at current.

I thought I'd let this look be a bit ragged and ripped off (don't mind the pun) with my DIY Ripped Jeans.
I honestly don't see why someone would want to pay for anything ripped? .... I'd rather do it myself.
A pair of scissors, rolling around on the floor and a good machine wash and Waa lah!

For something fancy I'm wearing my Make Believe flower necklace, which contrasts the edge for something pretty and fragile.
Uber deep I am.

MSFW 2011 - Designer Series 3: Enjoy

Follow the jump for my full post...

The third MSFW Designer Series Show: Enjoy showcased both Mens and Womens looks from underwear to gowns.

I wore bright Red Skinnies, Ben Sherman Coat, Black Long Sleeve, Make Believe Necklace, House of Harlow 1960 ring and Black Wedges.

[T-B/L-R] Ristefsky Macheda + MARTAN + Bettina Liano

This runway show featured looks from Ristefsky Macheda, Thom Finch, Leopold, Autonomy, Jack London, Alexi Freeman, White Suede and Bettina Liano. Models had their hair slicked back into high pony tails with neon pink extensions, whilst featuring a silver eye makeup treatment.

The show had your classic menswear looks as well as some more experimental designs including a feathered and a sequined blazer from Jack London. The womenswear was strong and chic with popular colours being red, orange and a strong focus on white,

My favourite looks came from White Suede, Autonomy and Alexi Freeman. I also had a soft spot for the Alexandra Blak's accessories.

Enjoy more shots below!

Make Believe - SOS Japan

Supporting the relief fund for Japan's Earthquake appeal Fashion Stylist/Blogger Fashion Hayley started SOS Japan, an eBay Charity Auction with all proceeds going to the Relief Fund. Designers both International and Australian donated pieces, voucher and the like to be auctioned for this great cause.

Following Fashion Hayley's blog I set my eyes on this limited edition Make Believe leather floral necklace. And I won! Very happy chap I was, winning a tres intense necklace and doing my bit for charity. Make Believe is a brand from Japan (now in New York) who create these unique floral pieces. They've also been featured in both Tokyo and Australian Fashion Weeks.

I love love love the necklace! Its fairly delicate but its a great statement piece especially with the reflective leather (as you can see on the left, flash wasn't friendly).
