Style Diary - Para. Para. Paradise

Remember my post about my Versace for H&M Shirt?
Well Wal Lah, here is my Style Diary post

The shirt is your contemporary Hawaiian/Tiki Shirt, something overly graphic but fun.
Love love loving the Blue Palm Tree front and the Black Alligator back, the combination is out there but it works in a 90's trend look.

This is my take on a Versace for H&M look, simple. Bit of Gold, Black (of course) and some studs from my Unif Hellraisers.

Style Diary - Spotty, Skulls, Black Oh My!

Prints... Oh Dear...

I'm getting back into prints again. The love love love to collect unique prints, ones that are interesting or that help to change up my silhouette. Choosing the right print is important, some can be really unflattering or come off cheap looking. With summer around the corner is the perfect time to find those fun soft prints, leaving the harsh structured ones for the colder months.

I got this pair of tribal/animalesque pants from H&M. It's a crazy print with spots, abstracts, leaves... basically its' the jungle blended into a black and white print and then made into pants. I paired the pants simply with Black Staples: Blazer, loose tank and a pair of black wedges. I belted the look and added my McQueen scarf just for something extra, definitely optional for an everyday look.
For me, having a small frame I prefer to wear deep tops, showing skin on top as it helps to add structure and strength to my look. So I don't look swamped.
It's all about give and take.

This House of Harlow 1960 Triquetta Cuff is tres amazing.
Love love loving the gold details, it'd be a killer cuff.
Adds that statement to a simple look.

Style Diary - Faux? Love.

I'm expanding my Winter Wardrobe

Coming back from Europe I expanded my Winter Wardrobe. Trenchcoats, Shearling, Vintage and Leather pieces have all made their way into my Wardrobe making winter bearable and stylish!

I wanted to get a faux fur... well anything for a while. I tend to get random cravings for things, fabrics, looks, colours and this time it was fur. The only thing with faux fur is well... it can tend to look fake. I know ironic but still... Looking here and there for a while I got across this jacket whilst on ASOS.com. Its a Faux Fur Gestuz Jacket.

After a bit of trouble trying to attain the jacket I finally got it, and I love love love it!
The fur is a blend of white, black and grey. Fitted and has pockets! (I love the little things).

With the fur being a large texture and monotonal I matched the jacket with a pair of Black Skinnies and a Black Deep-neck T-shirt. Accessorizing I added some metals, House of Harlow 1960 Sunburst Ring and a MARTAN Jewellery Double Cross Ring and a pair of black suede wedges.

Style Diary - Trenching It.

I've never really like winter. Rain... Cold... Rain.

I must admit with recent travels in cold cold Europe I've stocked up a pretty good winter wardrobe full of coats, scarves and other winter goodies to keep me warm and stylish over the cold months.

This trench coat is my favourite, I got from Paris H&M, Khaki green its a very winter chic coat. With a hood, waistband and my number one requirement pockets, this trenchcoat is great as an overcoat or a a look itself.

For this look I paired the trench with a simple white tee, skinny black Bardot waxed jeans and my black and white Alexander McQueen scarf. Just a simple winter look, helping to make winter more bearable and pretty.

I also added my textured wrap ring from House of Harlow 1960 and a Sugar Skull ring from MARTAN Jewellery, to add something to my hands.Gloves are a bit too restrictive so I opt for many a rings.

There is no excuse to not look good in winter, a good coat, scarf and accessories and you are good for the season!

Hello Harlow Love.

I like jewellery. I guess that is really no surprise well A. because I love to shop and B. I have my own Jewellery Store online. I believe that accessories are key to a wardrobe (that sounded really naft... but I'm going with it). A accessory can make a look more dressed up, casual and even more expensive and noticeable. That being said I have a a fair collection of jewellery in particular. It isn't a crazy expensive collection just bits and pieces I've gotten from travels, gifts and the like. I go for the interesting and unique.

Also a note is that I'm not really a celebrity product endorser. Celeb perfumes? No. But there are some instances where the Celeb becomes more than a Celeb, which I believe is the case with Nicole Richie. I've kinda been following her from post Simple Life to current Designer and Mother. Her brand House of Harlow 1960 has really nice pieces, and so heck I wanted me some Harlow....

As featured on my wishlist, I wanted the Onyx Textured Wrap Ring and the Black Leather Starburst Cocktail Ring. I got the Wrap ring first with Krystal at Mocha, whom stock House of Harlow 1960 to my surprise. And then the Sunburst ring from ShopBop, mainly because no where had my size or the Black Leather design in stock.

[LEFT] Textured Wrap Ring [RIGHT] Starburst Cocktail Ring

I love love love these rings. I wear the wrap ring practically everyday because it's simple chic and practical. The Starburst Cocktail ring is such a statement, I pair it with casual looks just to mix things up a bit.

[BOTTOM L-R] Turquoise Armour Ring (MJS), Owl Ring (Gifted from USA) & Double Cross Ring

Just a snapshot of some of the rings I've gotten recently, adding to my growing collection.
