Style Diary - Para. Para. Paradise

Remember my post about my Versace for H&M Shirt?
Well Wal Lah, here is my Style Diary post

The shirt is your contemporary Hawaiian/Tiki Shirt, something overly graphic but fun.

Love love loving the Blue Palm Tree front and the Black Alligator back, the combination is out there but it works in a 90's trend look.

This is my take on a Versace for H&M look, simple. Bit of Gold, Black (of course) and some studs from my Unif Hellraisers.

Mr. President - Coco Jamboo

So in the words of Tina Turner I searched River Deep and Mountain High for a piece from the much anticipated Versace for H&M collection. With success I managed to get my hands on this Mens Palm Tree/Alligator shirt. It's very Gianni Versace, it's a silk/cotton blend shit with a 90's 'big sleeve fit', the back is covered in the arm alligator print, and it also has a pretty gold top button featuring Versace's classic maze design. Safe to say I'm in love love love with my purchase. A shame I couldn't go there myself and buy more, but living in Australia is not gonna stop me!!

> Jennifer Lopez + Atelier Versace Fall 2011 Gown @ Glamour's Women of the Year Awards 2011Can we all take a look at the floral detailing on JLo's dress? BAM Amazing, the gown is balanced with a high slit to break up the look.
> Selena Gomez + Marchesa Fall 2011 Minidress @ MTV Europe Music 2011Gomez is once again sexy cute on the red carpet in Marchesa. Love love loving the detailing on the tulle dress, very elegant.

Versace for H&M Fashion Show

Take a look at the Fashion Show debut of Versace's collection for H&M. Fashion Elite, Models and Celebrities were out in New York for the show which has guest performers Nicki Minaj and Prince.The full collection features a combination of Versace classics, from rich prints to studs and metallics. 
I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to get my hands on some of these great pieces. It's such a fun and diverse collection, featuring FAB menswear. Donatella I love love love!

Versace for H&M - Sneak Peak

Mark your calendars because Versace for H&M is coming!

On November 17 Donatella Versace's collection honoring her brother Gianni will be released, showcasing classic Versace looks for both Women and Menswear. Brights, studs and classic baroque prints can be seen from the photos below.

Leading up to the launch, sneak peaks of the collection are finding their way online and in magazines. I cannot wait to see the full collection!

Beyonce - Promoting her second fragrance 'Pulse' in New York, Beyonce wore a Lanvin 2012 Resort gown. Love love loving the look, Beyonce looks great in the gown, the feathers and neckline are tres amazing.
Hailee Steinfeld - In Versace, Steinfeld attended the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party. Fresh young look for Steinfeld, love love loving the bright yellow accessories   
Lea Michele - On the red carpet for the 2011 Emmy Awards Michele wore a red Marchesa gown. The gown has flower shoulders and a cowl back, tres amazing. 
Nina Dobrev - My Look of the Week. Striking on the red carpet, Dobrev wore an amazing Donna Karan Resort 2012 gown. Dobrev looks sophisticated and beautiful, the gown shows off her killer figure.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - In London, Huntington-Whiteley wore a Tom Ford A/W 2011 velvet dress to the Tom Ford dinner. The velvet looks great on Huntington-Whiteley, tres chic.

Brittany Snow - At the VH1 2011 Do Something Awards, Snow wore this animal print Camilla and Marc mini dress. The sleeveless dress looks great on Snow, love love love. 

Duchess of Cambridge - In Alexander McQueen Resort Pre-Fall 2012 look, the Duchess of Cambridge was in Birmingham to show support for the London riots. McQueen looks tres amazing on the Duchess, military chic. 

Kelly Rowland - Looking striking in a Fall Versace mini dress, Rowland was at the press launch of the X Factor UK. Finishing her look, Rowland added a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti wedges. A great look for Rowland, showing off her great bod. A great start of the X Factor Fashion stakes!

Scarlett Johansson - In a coral Roland Mouret mini dress, Johansson was at the Disney D23 Expo. The capped sleeved dress looks tres amazing, chic and clean. 

Selita Banks - Celebrating Noah Tepperberg's birthday in New York, Banks was in a white The Row suit look. I love love love me some feminine suits and Banks pulls off the suit amazingly!

Emma Roberts - At the Nylon Magazine Young Hollywood Party in Hollywood, Roberts wore a black lace Elie Saab dress from their Fall 2010 Collection. Roberts really looks good in everything at the moment, channeling a very lady chic vibe in this look.

Ginnifer Goodwin - Premiering her new film 'Something Borrowed' in LA, Goodwin wore a formfitting printed Herve Leger by Max Azria mini dress from his Fall 2011 collection. I love love love Goodwin's style, and the multiple prints on the dress are pulled of really well.

Jennifer Lopez - At the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood signing copies for her latest album 'LOVE?' JLo wore a pair of black skinny harem pants by Elie Saab, Leather vest and knee high Louboutin boots. A very sexy edgy look. 

Kate Hudson - Glowing in yellow at the premiere of 'Something Borrowed' in LA, Hudson wore a Fall 2011 Versace dress showing off her great pregnant curves. Who said a pregnant woman can't look tres amazing?

Kerry Washington - Wearing head to toe Gucci from their Spring 2011 collection, Washington was at the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert in New York City. This look ticks a lot of boxes for me, love love loving the slick back ponytail, oversized clutch, metallics and the sexiness of the look. 

Mila Kunis - In a black Versace Fall 2011 gown, Kunis was an attendee at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington.

Lady GaGa - Harper's Bazaar USA May 2011 Spread & Judas Single Preview

This is a big GaGa post with her spread for Harper's Bazaar USA surfacing and her second single 'Judas' being thrown into the airwaves.

The spread shot by Terry Richardson sees GaGa wearing McQueen, Versace and a pair of wicked knife heeled mega platform heels. The spread has definitely redeemed the cover, though I am warming up to it. I wished that GaGa had a different hair colour than the cotton candy pink.

Also below is 'Judas' GaGa's second single. It's a lot more different to Born This Way or anything that GaGa has released or done. I must say it's wearing on me and I'm liking it a lot. I'm eager to see the music video which was directed by GaGa herself. Keep up the great work Mother Monster, love love love.
