Times have changed. Prints, Cuts, Sheer. I have converted. 

And who doesn't love love love a Bow Tie? 

....Well in this case it's a headband made into a Bow Tie.

Style Diary - Silver Summer

This year's summer has been a box of all sorts. 

Hot. Cold. Hot. Cold. More Cold. Even Rain... 

Though living in Melbourne.. I really should not be surprised...

In summer it's hard to really wear or enjoy a lot of pieces of clothing in a look. It's just too damn hot! 

This is probably why I'm really into accessories and particular statements pieces which help to bring out my style with minimal pieces. 

I still like to have a stylish look even if it's over 30 degrees...

I love love love my Silver Jeans, a statement piece but at the end of the day to me.. they're just jeans. 

For this look I just wanted to work the 'jeans and tee', accessorizing with my Alexander McQueen De-Manta Clutch and Unif Hellraisers. For fun I added my Key Necklace I got from the St Kilda Night Market and a Bolt Ring... which is literally a bolt that I wear as a ring.

Style Diary - Para. Para. Paradise

Remember my post about my Versace for H&M Shirt?
Well Wal Lah, here is my Style Diary post

The shirt is your contemporary Hawaiian/Tiki Shirt, something overly graphic but fun.

Love love loving the Blue Palm Tree front and the Black Alligator back, the combination is out there but it works in a 90's trend look.

This is my take on a Versace for H&M look, simple. Bit of Gold, Black (of course) and some studs from my Unif Hellraisers.

Style Diary 2011: The Looks

A main part of this blog is my Style Diary. 

I don't know how to describe my style, it's ever changing. I have my own style fads, pet style love love loves and heck I do chuck a bit of trend here and there. 

Now with 2012 in sight it's time to reflect on the year that's 2011 (if you haven't noticed already with my recent posts)

Starting from the beginning to now, it's funny to see some subtle changes, more my Hairstyles, Eyebrows and Model 101-ness. ahahaha. Even when compiling all of these shots, I laughed. Though all of these looks are apart of my style evolution! (yes I used the word evolution, don't judge... I sound like a Pokemon).

Style Diary: Ripped Off

For some reason I'm into the Sleeveless. 

Some could say it's because it's Summer. 

Some could say it is cheaper without the sleeves or that I'm into arms? (which is a negative)

There is something about sleeveless looks which just appeal to me at current. 

I thought I'd let this look be a bit ragged and ripped off (don't mind the pun) with my DIY Ripped Jeans.

I honestly don't see why someone would want to pay for anything ripped? .... I'd rather do it myself. 

A pair of scissors, rolling around on the floor and a good machine wash and Waa lah! 

For something fancy I'm wearing my Make Believe flower necklace, which contrasts the edge for something pretty and fragile.

Uber deep I am.

Style Diary - Sloppy 55

I like a random mix of things. Vintage, Designer, DIY and the occasional no name basic. 

I've had these overall pants from Zipia. One of those purchases where I like what I see, not sure how I'll wear it but I buy it moments. They are really comfy, slim fitting with two thin strap overalls which button at the front. I actually kind of forgot that I had them until I did a bit of a wardrobe clean out. 

For this look I paired the pants with one of my sloppy sweaters. I actually got this oversized sweater from K-Mart; a very cheap find. It's one of those creature comfort pieces, normally for very casual days. I cut the neckline so that it is a deep and if I want it somewhat off the shoulder, just so I'm not swimming in it all. 

I like when my style mixes everything together, I think it gives it more personality and it gives me much more to play with!

I'm going for a casual everyday look so to speak. To give it some more well me, I added my new Senso Acacia Wedges (Read more of the Sixth Senso), 5 Preview '55' Necklace and my Topshop Envelope Clutch. 

In my mind this is something I'd wear on a creative day, maybe chuck on some geek glasses whilst running errands, going to a shoot (again fantasy world), it's my creative look.
