I make my thoughts on Menswear clear... I don't really have many... 

Optimistically I still look for some great Menswear Looks/Designers that shake things up, some I'll soon post about to spread the love.

Here is Part 1 of my Menswear Picks for 2012. It's all in the Texture. 

It's nice to see some new Shapes and Colours for winter. 

Love love love-ing the Reptile Textures. I'm mildly obsessed with the Calvin Klein Pants, Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Baroque Blazers and the Christian Dior Bird Coat.

Picking up the Best British Brand, Beckham is in no other than her own creation. Chic and minimal. Love.

London Fashion Week saw florals elevate with brights, symmetrical prints and texture. Embellishment, fringe, cutouts and even raffa (from Burberry Prorsum) shows texture as a print itself. The metallic trend is definitely in the building, with silver and gold making a bold statement from suits to dresses. 

My favourite shows from London Fashion Week are from Burberry Prorsum, Erdem, Julien MacDonald, Mary Katrantzou and Matthew Williamson.

Carrie Bradshaw, wait no Sarah Jessica Parker covers the August Age Issue of Vogue USA. SJP is no stranger to the Vogue USA cover, this being her 6th cover.

SJP is wearing a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2011 coat. This cover was shot by Mario Testino. Love love love SJP, I can't get enough of her, and The Age Issue suit her well. One thing about the cover I'm not too fond about is the pink numbers.

Tad bit weird.

Diane Kruger - In a red Yves Saint Laurent 2011 gown, Kruger was at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in Paris. Love love loving the plunging neckline, sophisticated and the draping tres amazing.

Duchess of Cambridge - Wearing a Pre-fall 2011 custom Alexander McQueen look, the Duchess attended the Irish Guards Medal Parade. A very chic military look, even her hat works for me.

Kate Winslet - In Madrid for the YO DONA Magazine International Awards, Winslet donned a Victoria Beckham 2009 Fall gown. The look is very clean and chic, love love loving the embellishment on the waist adding some drama to the look.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - Out Promoting her first film debut in 'Transformers: The Dark of the Moon', Huntington-Whiteley was in Moscow wearing a Gucci Fall 2011 gown. A very trendy look at the moment. Love love loving the floral bodice and the sheer skirt shows off Huntington-Whiteley's killer legs.

Selena Gomez - I've got to say I've got a bit of a style crush on this little lovely at the moment. Gomez was at the Much Music Awards in Canada in a beige Burberry Prorsum mini dress from their Spring 2011 collection. I love love love the rustic look to the dress with its frayed ruffles. Gomez is looking very chic these days and I love it!

Courtney Cox - Filming for the 'Late Show with David Letterman' promoting her latest flick Scream 4, Cox dons a structured LBD by Roland Mouret. I love love love the shoulders, looks tres amazing on her.
Emma Roberts - At the LA premiere of Scream 4, Roberts wore a blue Burberry Prorsum mini dress. She matched the dress with Elie Saab heels and a slick back ponytail.
Eva Longoria - Still promoting her cookbook 'Eva's Kitchen', Longoria was a Barnes and Noble in a nude Victoria Beckham draped dress from her Spring 2011 collection.
Lucy Hale - The Pretty Little Liars star wore a black Georges Hobeika mini dress from his 2011 spring collection. I love the cut outs and the sequin detailing on the dress.
Minka Kelly - Wearing a purple/navy leopard print Zac Posen cocktail dress, Kelly attended the store opening of Follie Folllie in Soho.

Kate Bosworth: Wearing a Burberry Prorsum Spring 2011 jacket with a matching studded pencil skirt to the Burberry Prorsum 2011 Fall show.

Fall Menswear 2011 Picks - Part 3

Enclosed is my last set of picks for Fall Menswear for 2011. Finishing off strong with famous names like Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Versace, etc... Texture is a key element found in these picks, I particularly the detailing on the Versace Jackets. The leather leggings in Agnes B's collection I love love love.

Golden Globes 2011 - Best Dressed

With the beginning of award season comes with accolades and fashion exposure. This years Golden Globes saw a trend of black, body capped sleeves and and form fitting dresses. Not to mention the pregnancies. I chose five of the best dressed ladies of the night featured above.
