Marion Love... from Russia

Last year I featured Marion Cotillard in her Lady Grey London Dior Handbag campaign, now for 2011 Cotilard is featured in Russia for this year's Lady Dior Campaign. Cotillard is currently pregnant with her first child, ironically the Lady Dior bag is place right infront of her stomach. Cotillard looks tres intense, and I love love love how St. Basil's Cathedral is in the background. No doubt there is more to come from Lady Dior.

Ann Ward - Vogue Italia March Video

Here is a behind the scenes video of Ann Ward's Vogue Italia March spread. The video goes through various shots and wigs and Ward looks stunning putting all the haters to shame. Having an 70's/80's retro disco vibe Ward gives plenty of fierce energy to the shoot. Next up for Ward is her Beauty in Vogue cover in May. Love love love. 

Blake Lively - Chanel Mademoiselle Campaign Cont...again

Another shot from Blake Lively's Chanel Mademoiselle Handbag Campaign is out, this time she is holding a black quilted version of the handbag. This is a really dark shot.. mainly because it is actually really dark. I'm not sure about this photo I wouldn't say it's my favourite of the bunch, I think Lively looks a bit stunned or maybe it's the photoshop? She still looks beautiful don't get me wrong. I wonder if anymore shots will be released... I'll update accordingly.

Amanda Seyfried - Marie Claire UK April 2011 Spread

Here are photos from Amanda Seyfried's April Marie Claire UK spread shot by Matthias Vriens-McGrath. The spread reminds me of the new cover art on Avril Lavigne's latest record... weird association. Anywho Seyfried is looking stunning (as usual) though in the article she does discuss how she did feel like she was ugly, I beg to differ. 

I love love love the above shot, somewhat of a chic glamour shot with a dark edge to it. 

Seyfried is currently on the publicity storm with her new film Red Riding Hood out in the states.

Kate Winslet - Vogue UK April 2011 Spread

Photos from Kate Winslet's April Vogue UK shoot by Mario Testino have surfaced.

Taking a minimal approach, the shoot shows a demure and soft side of Winslet being shot in solid black and white clothes.

I particularly love love love this shot (right) at first I thought it was a painting photoshop effect but it looks to be sheer fabric to me, resembling a shoot done in Top Model cycle 13 with fabric.

Blake Lively - Chanel Mademoiselle Campaign

Blake Lively's Chanel Mademoiselle Handbag campaign has been released. As mentioned before in midweek fashion gossip, Lively was in Paris last year shooting the campaign which looks to of been shot in the iconic Chanel Paris office.The campaign from this first shot is very dark, as I kinda thought that it would be really pretty and girly... just my random ideas. I would like to see a proper face shot of Lively, hopefully the other shots will be good. The dark concept reminds me of the 2007 fall winter collection campaign.

- 'The Hills' star Lauren Conrad's new reality TV show has been dropped by MTV for being too upper crust. With her personal life taking a back seat this new series chronicles Conrad's fashion career. cont.

- Designer Tom Ford will show is second womenswear collection at London Fashion Week, unfortunately his collection will only be shown to monthly international magazine groups. cont.

- Former Aussie model Gemma Ward features in a magazine after quitting the modelling. However Ward features in the Herald Sun's Sunday magazine discussing her relationship with the late actor Heath Ledger.cont.

- American Idol Judge and singer Jennifer Lopez has landed another gig, this time being the Global Brand Ambassador for Gillette Venus. cont.

- H&M has created the new 'inclusive' collection joining both fast fashion with plus sizes. cont.

Part two of my Fall Menswear Picks for 2011, see the suit being reinterpreted with new prints and colours. Metallics feature prominently in Jean Paul Gauliter while hints of leather and fur also are evident in others. Leggings and the drop crotch also are rising in collections, things I'm currently in love love love with.

Menswear unfortunately isn't the biggest area of the Fashion Industry. Hopefully in time it'll soon rival womenswear though I see it taking a long time, more guys need to develop taste and personal style. Anyway I've been through the entire Fall 2011 collection, I see trends of Leather, Detailed Textures, Primary Colours, Bronze and Black of course. Here are my first lot of picks from this season. With the beginning of award season comes with accolades and fashion exposure. This years Golden Globes saw a trend of black, body capped sleeves and and form fitting dresses. Not to mention the pregnancies. I chose five of the best dressed ladies of the night featured above.

With her co-star Blake Lively being officially announced as the face of the new Chanel Mademoiselle Handbags, images from Missoni's Spring Summer 2011 collection featuring Leighton Meester have surfaced. The campaign is fun and culturally inspired also featuring member of the Missoni family. Miss Portman Cherie

Mentioned previously in my Midweek Fashion Gossip posts Natalie Portman was chosen to be the new face for the Dior fragrance Miss Dior Cherie. Her partnership of Dior led them to redesign her shoe collection to be totally vegan, if only we were all as lucky as that! Now images have surfaced for the print campaign with the companion film ad believed to surface in March. The ad is tres intense Portman whom is topless looks chic and sexy, bringing a new look to the fragrance which has been previously marketed as more cute and whimsical. I can't get enough of Portman I love love love her! Updates as they come.

It seems that now is the time where all of the celebrity designer spreads are being leaked. The latest is Rumer Willis for Badgley Mischka. Three images have been released of the actress by the sea in beautiful dresses. I love love love the photos, I find that Willis is an unconventional beauty she just oozes sophistication in these photos. More photos will surface soon.
