Control

 [T-B/L-R] Coffees, Food and Cocktails with Lovelies and Product Shoot

Last week was all about my lovelies.

I got to catch up with friends from high school, travels and the like. Its kind of insane to think of the time that you've known people. The memories and experiences shared. I to have a lot of food over great and long over due conversation. 

Slotting in between my busy social week I managed to get some shots done for MARTAN Jewellery and Style Diary shots. A lot of things are in its idea stages, I cannot wait to show you all. The product of all of this behind the scenes stuff!

On a uni front, I passed semester 1! I'm a very happy chap about it, one down one and a bit to go! What I plan to do after university is still up in the air. Additional study, work, study, move? All ideas for me to ponder in these months left in 2011. 

Control, something which I live by. Anything I can I try to. I think goes hand in hand with my independent nature. I've come to realize that as much as I want to, somethings just can't be controlled. From trivial things like the weather to other more complex things. As long as I have the passion for whatever I do my control is justified.

Allen is wearing a polka dot Gucci look, channeling an old school English glamour vibe. Love love loving the cover tres chic.

Allen recently tied the knot with Sam Cooper, and revealed on her wedding day her very pregnant belly! Allen also launched a fashion line 'Lucy In Disguise' named after her vinatge store run by her sister and herself.

Looks of the Week - 27-3rd July 2011

Ashley Greene - In New York for the Salvatore Ferragamo 2012 Resort Collection launch, Greene wore a white Salvatore Ferragamo dress. I love love love the old Hollywood vibe Greene gives off, the dress also has detailed draped bow shoulders.

Jade Ewen - Wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock mini dress, Ewen was a guest at Beyonce's Album Launch Party in London. I'm a big fan of Falguni and Shane Peacock, edgy chic and Ewen looks tres amazing in the mini dress featuring a digital print, studs and leather. Love love love!

Katie Holmes - At the premiere for her latest film 'Don't be Afraid of the Dark' Holmes rocked the red carpet in a black Contrarian dress. Holmes' look is very chic and classic.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - Featuring twice on the list this week. First Huntington-Whitley wore a navy Burberry gown to the London premiere of Transformers 'Dark of the Moon'. The liquid look gown was tres amazing, being sophisticated with the riske neckline showing off her killer body. Then for the New York premiere Huntington-Whiteley opted for a red paneled Antonio Berardi gown. A much more sexy look, the strapless gown hugged her figure while the paneled details added depth to the look.

Rachael Taylor - Vogue Australia August 2011

Actress Rachael Taylor covers the August issue of Vogue Australia.

Taylor rose to fame with rolls in Transformers, Grey's Anatomy and at the end of the year Taylor will feature in the Charlie's Angels television reboot.

Taylor looks tres amazing on the cover, she is giving plenty of face. The pose, styling and colours are a bit odd but there is something about it I like. 90's chic?

Style Diary - Savage? and Vintage

I love love love me thing Savage H&M Print

Every time I think of this print I think of London, Oxford Street, Shopping, fond fond memories. Featured in my Style Diary entries, I collected this print. I've got a cropped blazer, pant and these blue leggings. They are tres intense, and I love love love them. 

Being Winter its gotten a lot more colder, and that means time for jackets, overcoats and layering. I never really enjoyed Winter, the rain and the cold but style wise it's great! I got this GAP overcoat on a successful vintage shopping trip. Its grey, long and fitted. For this Style Diary look I also added this black belt just to break the length and add some waist.  

This is my look for winter. Simple pieces with one savage statement!
